Adult Classes and Professional Classes
To register for an Adult Class, please fill out a
registration form and purchase a class card. You may also drop in, if you don't want to purchase a card. If you choose to drop in, please call
ahead to make sure the class is happening. The information in the policies and procedures section of the site are 'guidelines' for adults. Adults
do not need to adhere to the dress code requirements. We want you to be comfortable taking class here. Appropriate shoes are a good idea, but no
one is going to be kicked out of class for not wearing a black leotard and pink tights!
Class cards are good for 10 classes. They expire 12 weeks from the purchase date. Class
cards are non-refundable. Once you register for a class and purchase a class card, you may try out any class that is happening! If your class card expires prior to using all the classes, you may pay $4 per class to bring those unused classes up to the drop in rate.
Explanation of Adult and Professional Class Levels
Beginning: Dance instruction for anyone new to dance, or people who have been away from dance for a
long time. Students will begin building strength, developing proper alignment and a better understanding of basic dance elements.
Advanced Beginning: Students should have a solid understanding of basic dance terms, techniques
and steps. Strength and alignment continue to be stressed. Students will be expected to grasp more difficult concepts.
Intermediate: Strength, alignment and technique continue to be stressed and built upon. Students
are expected to be able to learn by watching, with less explanation than previously required. The class will move more quickly and is d
esigned to develop and challenge the dancer.
Advanced: This is a fast-paced class for professionals or budding professionals wanting to hone their skills.
